The research activities promoted by the Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura della Compagnia di San Paolo as part of its Progamme of Advanced Studies on the Culture of the Baroque Age fall under several headings such as providing advanced research grants and fellowships (Borse di Alti Studi) and publishing the results of research projects.
The advanced research grants and fellowships ‘Borse di Alti Studi’ represent an opportunity for all young researchers, both Italian and non-Italian, working on the 17th and 18th centuries.
Grants for research and for publication are offered annually. The different topic chosen each year for the advanced research grants and fellowships gives rise to original research.
